#1 - Le quatrelle, a history of love [EN]

This little french classic is the pride of it's owner, Eduardo Pacheco, one of the Broken Rod Mag founding members.

Fabricated between 1961 and 1992 it was built to rival the Citroën 2CV. Renault tried to construct a car capable of satisfying all needs.

It was released on the 28th of august 1961 in Frankfurt Germany and had a great impact in the world.
Being extremely successful production started from throughout various countrys like France, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, Australia and others.

Eduardo's 4l was one of the later models being built and the fact this is one is equipped with a small 1.1 liter engine doesn't rip the smyle of it's owner's face when it's driven to the maximum in any mountain road (As long as it's downhill)..

Trying to keep the car as original as possible only minor beauty modifications were applied, like the long-range headlights in the front.

Which will soon have yellow lamps to keep it french-looking.

Despite most models include Radio, Eduardo doesn't want to put one in so he can hear the sweet sound of it's little engine roaring down the street.

This well-treated car gets noticed everywhere it drives through because.. well, look at it! A lot of hours were invested in cleaning and maintenance by the owner!

Well, we'll drive off now and thank Eduardo for presenting us this good-looking classic model!
