For the next Broken Rod Mag Interview we jumped into our little 4L and hit the road to meet this unique Ford Escort.
Carlos Antão, the owner of this Car bought it in 2004 with the purpose of building something completely different, a kind of modification which had not yet arrived to Portugal.
After a lot of work and time spent it's visible to see the love that he feels for it, and when he's told to remove the stickers and follow a more elitist way he smiles and simply says ''It's my way to be different''.
Buying the 4 door version is another way to be different.
If you think the stickers would resume to only the outside then you're wrong! Even the interior is completely packed with emblems, Gauges and other Motorsport related extras!
Even the Gear Stick was replaced with one coming from a Lotus.
When asked which was his first sticker he swiftly points to this one from the first Classic Car encounter/show which took place in the Circuit of Boavista.
Some extras from the epoch were added like this classic Headrests.
The rims were chosen to combine, even though he has this set mounted at the moment, Carlos confesses he has about 6 different other sets at home.
One thing you immediately notice is that this car won't get unnoticed! Wherever it drives through you'll see people get surprised by it's looks and admiring it.
Even Carlos took the opportunity to take some pictures of his beloved car.
